One day until the US election, two days until I can buy the pair of dark brown pants at Plum, three days until my last day at work before my holiday, four days until I get my hair done, five days until my Saturday house chores, six days until my nephew's baptism, seven days until my vacation, eight days until I wear my pj's all day, nine days until I organize the laundry room, ten days until I veg out and watch chick flicks, eleven days until I do a brisk walk around the block for fitness, twelve days until I hit the mall seeking shopping refuge. Again.
In a just a few short 12 days I accomplish a whole lot of nothing much, because I deserve it. I need my break. I need time to recollect, chill, organize and spend time with the person that matters most to me, myself. 12 days to get to know this soul a bit better than I have known her for the past 26 years. It will be nice spending time a little bit of time with me.
